Dr. Hoyt received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He is board certified in his specialty and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Following 15 years of private practice in Virginia, Dr. Hoyt entered the Navy and is currently stationed in Pensacola, Florida.
He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition, he is Associate Director of Medical Informatics at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida.
